You really shouldn't mix the two but if you must then start with the wine and then go to beer. Otherwise, if you start with beer and then go to wine you will get really drunk.

Only if you run out of wine should you then switch to beer.
If you start drinking beer don't switch to wine as you'll be bloated from the beer and not appreciate the taste of the wine as much.
Usually you don't mix the two unless you want a hangover, but any alcohol in excess will cause a hangover.

The two make an unusually fine "mixed" drink. Equal parts of wine and beer on ice---what a fine taste treat. Try it, you'll like it.

Well, I have a beer sometimes before dinner as my cocktail. And with my dinner enjoy a nice bottle of wine. If I put food in my stomach, I don't get drunk... just a little tipsy!!
