Something is troubling me much. It’s how people keep saying you have to be a certain religion to go to heaven, and that most people are going to hell, because they don’t do what God asks of them. This troubles me because first of all, we don’t even choose to be born, then we find ourselves here on this Earth, and there are so many bad things going on, so much pain and suffering and sorrow and hate in the world, and after all that, we will go to hell, it really troubles me, this is terrible, don’t you agree with me?

I think anyone who is a truly good person who shows kindness and compassion towards other human beings and helps the world should go to heaven, no matter what they believed in, or whether they were religious or not. It trouble me to know that some people think if a person doesn't believe in a certain religion, they will go to hell no matter how good that person was in life.

Your right some people base going to heaven purely on religion. I dont however. I personally believe that if you are a decent person with a kind soul and a good heart, that u will go to heaven. You seem very sensitive but try not to worry. Religion is a cause of a lot of suffering on this planet. As long as u are good, u will go to heaven.

Every religion in the world today states that if you do not believe in that religions specific God then you will spend eternity in Hell, or some form thereof. So, if Muslims don't believe in the Christian God then all Muslims go to Hell. If Christians don't believe in the Muslim God then all Christians are doomed to hell. Well if this is the case, isn't everyone that belongs to any religion going to go to Hell? They sure don't believe in the other religions God. They only people that don't seem to be damned for eternity are atheists.

Think about people died 2000 years ago or more their bodies' disappeared but what about their souls, evaporated??
Life is a test time you have all the choices open so what you'll choose the good way or the bad way?
Don't try to till me that the one who kill people and all his life filled with evil will be equal to a good man never hurt a fly.

First of all I want to point out to you that it is what the Bible teaches. You did not ask to be born, I agree, but you were born for a reason, and that is because God has a plan and purpose for your life. God made man so that He could glorify Him in their lives. Sin entered the world, and so the sin nature was passed on to each one of us. God then sent His Son Jesus, to die and take the punishment which we deserved, for your sin and mine, so that we can be made right with God.
God has given everyone an opportunity to be reconciled with Him, but He has also given everyone a choice. You have a choice, I have a choice. I have chosen, to know God, and have a meaningful and purposeful life, serving Him. I chose 37 years ago now, and its the best decision I have ever made. Now you must choose, to accept or reject this message. What is your decision - which means Where will you spend eternity.

Those "people" that say you are going to Hell because they will be there long before you IF you get there. They are called "Hypocrites" and they don't know a DAMNED thing about where you will end up.

First of all you don't have to be a certain religion. Secondly it should trouble you...Not doing what God intended for you...Not being thankful, grateful, and appreciative for the GIFT you were given.... and as far as all the pain and suffering...we are to be thankful for the trials and tribulations we experience...and lastly there is so much good to be thankful for as well....Seek and you shall find!!!

I do agree that it is a terrible way to believe. But, I also do not believe in an afterlife, so it doesn't matter to me. This life is all we have, so don't waste it.

I agree with you.
Any deity that would condemn people to hell merely because they don't worship him is an evil deity that should be worshiped by no one.
