Should we use the LAW when we Evangelize to reach the concience of people when preaching. Once they understand their sin, is it not then easier to tell them about God's love and grace for those who believe in Jesus Christ who died to pay for our sins? Whatya think folks ???

No, absolutely not. We can use them to create personal laws for ourselves, but not as a government (at least not in this country). This country was founded on the basis of having religious freedoms. So we can't impose our own ethics/morals on everyone in the name of religion.

It is used, and right from the Bible, in Sunday worship, in Bible studies,. in our daily readings and devotions, in our daily lives that choose to follow them. It is not our responsibility to "reach" anyone's conscience, that is up to the individual to take in what they choose. Once they understand their sin, that is between that person and God, not us. The ten commandemnts are God's laws and it is up to each to make a choice to live by it. No christian is perfect, no one is as we are all sinners, but to try to live by the ten commandments which is God's law is a start.

Jesus taught others through love and kindness. He helped them to believe before He even mentioned sin. He, of course, had the help of God's healing powers. He was a model of appropriate behavior on earth. He taught us to love and accept others. We should do the same.

You should 'Evangelize' by how you act. In your case, I would say I'm less likely to listen to you since your goal is to 'convert' me.

Plus I think the Ten Commandments are usually used by people of little Christian faith. They (like you seem to want to do) want to use them as a stick to hit people with. They are not interested in them for transforming their own lives (which is an admirable Christian goal), they are only interested in them for proving their own righteousness.
