Even though my exboyfriend ended our relationship he would still say hi to me on msn. That has stopped now, but a few days ago he said hi to me after not talking to me for more than 4 months. I was helping my sis pack for Western university and I logged on msn and put "packing for Western" as my msn quote and he said hi to me right away. I was surprised cuz we haven't talked in like forever. Neways after the casual stuff he asked me if I was changing schools and going to Western but I said no and told him it was my sis. After that he didn't say anything so I asked him why he contacted me and he said that it was "cuz he hadn't seen me in awhile". I can't believe him, he dumped me like months ago and now when he thinks I'm going to another university he says hi. What's up with that? How can he have the nerve to still ask me what is going on in my life, and why does he even care? How come he only said hi to me when he though I was changing schools?

Because he might not want u to go,he might have feelings 4 u and realize that he made on mistake.

Sadly, it seems that you are making more out of this than necessary.
He has probably seen you on MSN loads of times but did not feel the need to contact you earlier.
He was probably just curious since he spotted your quote and wanted to know whats going on in your life.
Hard as it is to imagine, he was more than likely just curious, nothing more. Since he did the dumping and moved on, its easier for him to deal with you neutrally. Whereas for you there is more raw emotions to deal with.

ok we take things hard im a guy wen me and mine broke up for a month we hated it we both felt like crap and missed each other in the end we got back and now i believe we might b stronger than ever we love each other and maybe he juss hasnt been able to let u go maybe he thinks of u constantly but doesnt want to admit he messed up

He's nosey and wants to see what you are up to. Maybe he thought if you were going to Western you guys could hook up and say "Goodbye" or something. People act strange when they know they can't have something or that it is leaving - in this case if you were leaving he knew that would probably be it.

I wouldn't give it much thought. He dumped you and that is all you need to remember. Even if he is trying to be nice you don't have to be. There is no rule that says you have to talk to him. Keep it moving
