Beer and Onion Brats
Ingredients
1 pkg. (19.76 oz.) Johnsonville Fresh Original Bratwurst
1 large onion, sliced thinly
2 bottles (12 oz.) of your favorite beer
1 onion, diced, to garnish
Mustard to taste
Directions
Place the brats, onions and beer in a pan and heat to boiling. Cover, turn down heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove the brats and grill on low to medium heat for 10 minutes. Turn the brats so they are browned on all sides.
Serve on a bun with raw diced onions and mustard - yum!
This is great with potato salad.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU5DY
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Simmer the brats in beer until they are just done, along with some sliced onions, if you wish. When done, the brats can be eaten as is or patted dry and then grilled just a minute or 2 on each side until the grill flavor has enhanced the beer flavor. Good luck!

Simmer the brats in water for five minutes. In a skillet put 2-3 tablespoon butter and brown the cooked brats. Then add about 3/4 bottle of good beer and simmer for 15 minutes, adding about one tablespoon of good mustard and some chopped onion. At the end of this time, use the rest of the beer with 2-3 tablespoons corn starch mixed well. Add this to your brats/beer and continue simmering until it's thick enough for you. Serve with mashed potatoes.
All of this takes a few minutes and is a delicious meal.
