it depends on your religion...some religions believe that it is a gift from God that you are alive and to not want it is "disrespectful"...so killing your self would be a sin...like i said...it all depends on your religion...

Suicide is a sin, but not necessarily unforgivable. Everyone sins and there is no one without sin except Jesus. If someone commits suicide they are not able to ask forgiveness, so maybe that is why some religions consider this the "unforgivable" sin. I personally do not believe this. A person that commits suicide is usually severely depressed and is sick. It is a disease like any other disease, and should be treated as such. A person considering suicide needs medical attention right away. I think besides contemplating heaven and hell, there is also the heartbreak to friends and family that suicide causes. Many of those that are suicidal do not realize the impact and devastation that suicide can cause and think that no one cares, when in fact they have many friends and family that care very much. Suicidal thoughts cloud the mind. This mental illness creates a false illusion and the sufferer is deceived. I worked with a nurse that committed suicide. She was greatly loved and respected by her coworkers, her husband and her two middle school aged children. Her family will never really be the same.

they may go to hell, why do you ask are you suicidal? Consider getting some help or if someone you know is wanting to, I have been suicidal with some issues in my life, but take a deep breath and think of all the positive things that life has to offer.

it frightens me that you asked that question. I hope you are not thinking of doing anything stupid. Its non reversible. things some times suck the weight of the world seems unbearable.Life is life good bad or indifferent. Even suicidal people will fight back if some one is trying to hurt or kill them. Life is a battle of sorts so do not cheat and go directly to the end. there are plenty of experiances and people worth sticking around for.Basically you die and I dont know of anybody coming back. Houdini said he would try to contact the living after his death so far no one has heard from him ;we are all still waiting. Life is short enjoy the ride!

Suicide is not an unpardonable sin.
Blasphemy is.
There's a big difference!
If someone commits suicide and they're saved, then they go to Heaven!

if a person is saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, it doesn't matter how you die. you shouldn't take your own life, but you won't go to hell if you are saved.
