Why would you want to? Frankly it is NONE of your business what anyone does in the "privacy" of their own car. Everyone is well aware of the dangers of smoking in 2006...smokers have had their civil rights trampled down from city bars to work places. People like you have tried to make it impossible for anyone to enjoy a smoke anywhere. Did you forget that Tobacco was the first cash crop of the USA?? Better yet, you want your new stadiums so you tax the hell out of cigarettes and beer to pay for them...so it's okay to smoke and pay for your fun, but we can't smoke in them or around them! Brings to mind a certain Tea Party in Boston....

Having said that, I as a smoker respect your right to not have to inhale my smoke. I do not smoke in your home or your car. I do not empty my ash tray on any parking lots. If we go out to dinner I will gladly sit in the non-smoking section for your comfort. I do not smoke around my nephew in my home because he has asthma. I respect the right of restaurant owner to make their restaurant's smoke free....I also reserve the right to not spend my money there. I will smoke in my home...and my car whenever I want to and you can just check your interference at the door. I work, I pay my taxes, and all my bills on time. I have voted in each and every election since I turned 18. I don't drink or do drugs. I own my home and my kids are active in the community. I have been married to the same man for 17 years and have never even thought of having an affair. My only bad habbit is smoking...LEAVE ME ALONE.

Do you ride mostly in the passenger side? If so, use a fire extinguisher...When you see someone smoking in their car roll down your window and blast away...Or, you can buy a grimm reaper mask and stick that on and then when you pass by them look directly at them and point and use a fake cigarette and hold it up to the mask...I know stupid huh?...so is your question. You can't make anyone stop doing what they want to do. If their child is diagnosed with cancer because of second hand smoke I am sure that they will feel as worst as possible when it happens and they will quit and become one of you.

And then stop the parents who:
let kids ride, unrestrained
talk on the cell phone while driving
run red lights
leave kids in the car while they "dash" into the store
let their kids run around stores and restaurants unsupervised
drink alcohol at dinner in a restaurant, then are going to drive themselves and the kids home.
I don't have kids, but there is no way for the public to "police" what parents do with their kids.

I am a non smoker but, on the other hand I really think its non of your business if a parent is smoking around "their child" or not.

You can't so I would suggest not looking if it really bothers you. One must make their own choices and it sounds like you are a caring a loving person but it is none of your business.
