I'm in a horrible dillema that's been going on for far too long. I'm ready to quit. I have this porn addiction where I can't seem to stop myself from looking at the evil crap. I've prayed for these women many times because of the affects they've had on me. All I want is to be free. I've asked God to help me many times but the main reason it's not working is because of me. He'll help me but I can't seem to help myself. I've tried to stay off the pc but when I'm outside girls where the tightest clothes and my eyes just lock on them.

I understand your problem. I have recently given up coffee, alcohol, and tobacco. I have a friend who was a pornography addict.

God will help you, but you have to do your part, too. Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave : Finding Hope in the Power of the Gospel (Resources for Changing Lives), a book by Edward T. Welch, has helped me. Also, ask your church leaders to help and pray for you.

How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet

1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog ,you can get it from www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That's important.

2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov

3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.

4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.

5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.

6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.

Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

You need intervention, there are deliverance ministries, and step programs, some churches have classes on how to overcome life controlling addictions. Get help fast and get rid of everything you own that is porn, don't even watch r rated movies. I know God can help you, don't give up. Its a shame that women wear such clothes in public, but we cant do anything about it, just look the other way. Replace a good thought for a bad one immediately. I wish you the best.

Study the Way of the Warrior. Not the eating your enemy's heart
bullcrap. Native American, Shambhala Warrior, the Peaceful
Warrior.
Warriors don't fight with others. They battle their own personal
demons, like false pride, self-righteousness, lust, and fear.
By overcoming those demons, the warrior can then live in peace
with others.

Prayer will not help. Please try one of the 12 step groups. I'm listing links below. These groups will ask you to turn your problem over to a higher power. The fellowship of being with other people that share your struggle should help. Good luck with your battle.
