Yes, it IS great to be alive. I would rather pay taxes than be dead and would never depend on depression. Sounds as if you could do with a bit of help ? Don't keep it to yourself but tell us about it and you will feel a lot better as we all care..

I went out to the lakes today with my girls and did pond dipping. It was really great and a joy. Tomorrow I will take the dog to the beach. He will swim in the sea, we will look for intersting stones etc and it will be fun. They are the things that make life great, not all the daily ****, bills, tax etc. Find the joy and try and ignore the crap. Good luck my friend, I know how hard it can be.

There are others things to life besides that...family, friends, a great party, a job you love (if you are determined enough to find out what it is)...travelling, learning, loving, smiling.....I think the good outweighs the bad, it just depends what kind of mond set you have..

Don't get me wrong, I have my bad days too, but guy you need to lighten up a bit!

And dumb questions on Yahoo Answers. Don't forget those. They're much more frequent than death, taxes or depression.

Ya things can be bad, they can get you down, but live in hope, get through the bad times and they make you all the more worthy and grateful of the good times :)

I haven't felt death yet, so I must say that being alive is indeed great.

I'll come back to you when I've felt both.

absolutley, I thank god every day for my health, roof over my head and a clean bed to lie in and also for a great day if the weather has been good.

Yes I prefer to be alive than dead, certainly, as long as I am not sick like hell with no hope of recovery.
