I don't deny that illegal aliens will do jobs that some Americans won't do, but come on! As a poorer American my entire family has struggled for generations to rise from poverty (yes poverty exist here in America too) by doing "degrading" jobs. By degrading I mean no health-care insurance for my family, minimum rage pay, hazardous work conditions, and long hours away from family. I totally agree with you because I refuse to be treated like a slave in this so called Superpower of a nation. If immigrants, legal or illegal, can put up with that sh*t hat's off to them! But for me and my family, this "great" country has failed us. (The American Dream is more like the American Lie, in my opinion.)

we would do them and gladly so if the "undocumented" didn't take the opportunity away from us. I myself have worked jobs (hard back breaking ones) where not only was I the only white but the only "legal" and of course the only one who spoke English. And yes I did apply for a job working for Border Patrol but I don't meet the current minimum height requirement. I'm only 4 ft 11!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!! they make 240 dollars a day, that's more than I make, if they were in my area I would pick, that's dam good money, why the hell aren't you out their picken, if your so dam worried. apparently that isn't enough money for them, they want better jobs, they don't want to pick either, so much for cheap labor. If they work a 12 hr. day that's 20 and hr. I work 12 hr. days and make 12 an hr. you dam right I would pick. Their are all kinds of illegals in Florida, but they are loosing their orange crop because the illegal do not want to do the work they want other jobs, so we don't need any more illegals here, if their not doing the work anyway.

Illegals are 2% of the workforce. Many more laborer type jobs can be found in the U.S. I come from a farming family and though we do most of our own work, we have never had any trouble finding American workers to help out. And we have always paid a good, fair wage. You shouldn't support exploitation of people, even people who break laws. People who hire illegals want cheap labor. Sometimes they give them crappy living and working conditions. You don't call giving someone $40 for doing your electrical(or whatever) work fair, do you?

I don't get it? If they're earning that kinda money, why don't the illegals do the jobs?? There are already at least 12 million of them here now ... Why are only 2% or less of the illegal workforce employed in the agri sector? Could it be that they earn even more money doing other jobs??
