Last night, I focused on a pencil for 30 minutes straight attempting to move it. At one point, I was able to mentally lift the pencil at least 10 inches in to the air above the table. Has anyone else ever heard of anything similar to this? I was able to recreate it once today with a paper clip.

Shouldnt you know the answe to this already? Give it a shot, if the thing moves then, yes. If not then, Nope.

Yes, if I concentrate hard enough my hand will move towards the pencil and move it straight up into the air! I also managed to recreate it with a paper clip!

Well done! How old are you? I am 28 years old now, you see, and i used to be able to do things similar but only when i was about 13-16 years old (puberty). I used to be able to knock things off the shelf & turn on and off the light switch with my mind. This is called telekinesis, the power to move objects with your mind. If u are interested in this subject get a good book to read and study.

Keep practising my friend. You should check out this book called "Conscious Acts of Creation".
They measure the sacred space of direct focus projected onto an object or room, and with the intention of manipulating the molecular structure of the space involved. They can measure this and is repeatable.
They manipulate molecules with their minds. Real science ignored by many, but still is repeatable and achievable by all.

Sure, your mind fires a synapse and makes your arm move, your fingers grasp the pencil and viola, your MIND makde the pencil move. Your finger sure didn't get the idea to do it.
