who said it was nothingness before you were born? if you were with God before, you'll be with Him after, right? If you were nothing before, you will be actively dead afterwards. you can't just cease being, nature kinda tells you that, doesn't it? matter never cease to be, nor does energy. The question is, are you truly alive right now, or are you dead inside?

Do you remember before you were born? It is eternal life in either heaven or hell. If it were nothingness then no one would want to die.

I do not believe it was just nothing before we were born any more than it will be afterward. Of course I am a Christian. Our spirits were with Christ before we were born and if we choose him, they will be afterward, if we don't, then we will be with Satan. That is just the way it goes. You may not agree, but it is my opinion, based on what I study in the Bible. Hope it answers your question though.
