Berkeley California banned gas blowers.

My city (Austin, Texas) hasn't banned them, but there is an ordinance against blowing debris into the street. But guess what? People do it anyway, especially lawn service companies, and I doubt that anyone ever gets in trouble for it.

Yes, gas blowers. Palo Alto, CA has banned them.
Think it is noise and not air quality.

Whoever asked this question that is the greatest idea ever. Every day there is a mexican around my house using some kind of gas powered landscape tool.

i am not sure about totally banning them, but where i live, in a Chicago suburb, you can't use on e before a certain time in the day.
