This is a question that has vexed philosophers since the time of the ancient Greeks. Is there really free will? In one sense, the answer is NO: in principle, the actions of a human being are a result of all of the inputs that one has received during one's entire life, so if one measured all of these and calculated out a simulation, it would be possible to predict one's future actions. But this is obviously impossible, so we all need to act as if we had fre will -- even if we don't.

Predestination would negate free will. There is no test, this is not a trial run. Live your life as you want and don't worry about following a yellow brick predestined path.

I don't believe our lives are predestined. I believe we all make our choices the best we can no matter what the situation. I also don't believe that it's some huge test. This is life... experience it, no matter what comes.

i think the creator knows what u r going to do with your life(will u try to live in HIM or no)-he sees in eternity not time like we see.
u can't do too well usually in this world unless u sell your soul. then yeah-u can have it now-u might not be able to enjoy it but u can have it. some give it away for nothing really. weird huh?

God has His perfect plan for our lives. His plan can have pain and suffering in it but it is for our good.

Also realize, we make choices that go against His plan. These also cause pain and suffering.
