I didnt go but can hear the music from my house and they're playing in the commons.

I went, and I can tell you it was the most amazing concert I have ever seen. So what if the guys are in their 60's. At least they can still sing! And they put on a great show. Awesome fireworks and flames display. The crowd was loving it! They played all their old songs and some new ones. Everyone sang along. You could tell the Stones were loving it, despite the rain! I think that almost made it better; there were no brawls, no major trouble. Just the typical drunks and potheads. And I know that if people were just given a free ticket, even if they didn't really like the Stones, they'd go anyway, just to say they saw the Stones.
The opening acts were pretty cool too. Alice Cooper brought out his snake, which was great! Despite the rain, or maybe because of it, he seemed to be having a great time. Sloane did a great job too, as did Kanye West.
At least you were able to hear the music. I know I looked at the apartments across the Commons at one point, all the lights were one, and most of the balconies were full.
I really hope that this makes people realize that Halifax has a great place to put on an amazing show, and hopefully more people will want to perform here.

Over priced and over rated! I can't imagine paying $100 to sit on wet grass in the rain and listen and watch a bunch of geriatrics pretend they're 20!

Lucky you. I have friends who live out there but they were going to a hockey game instead.
