My favorite breed of dog is any dog that comes from the shelter. Theres so many pets out there that need good homes. It kills me to see people spending a couple hundred dollars on a dog because it's a purebred. Dogs from the shelter although they may be "Muts" will still love you all the same. Make adoption your first option. I have a mut, his names Rascal he is 15 years young and the most loveable dog you could ever own.

A cockerspaniel is the cutest of all dogs. They do not shed a great deal, nor do they grow to be very big. They have cute, floppy ears, and big, sad eyes. I happen to have a cockerspaniel named Molly, who is very fun and playful, as well as a bit crazy. Cockerspaniels are my favorite.
Sheepdogs would be my second favorite, because of their extreme intelligence. They gracefulness confounds me. I would say Shetland Sheepdogs are my favorite, although I don't know much about them. They just look the cutest! You are so lucky to have two shelties!

great choce !!! I personally like Shiba Inu's. I have one that I did my obedience trials with. Every time we did long sits and downs, she was beside a sheltie !! Boy she never did like those girls. lol They usually kicked her but in points but she did manage to beat one to get 3rd in worlds and 1st in canada. Always say (behind her back) that I would get a sheltie when she goes. But its gonna be a long time cause shes 13 and no signs of giving up lol

I have a miniature schnauzer and she's the sweetest thing in the world. She's the runt of the litter but she thinks she's a rottweiler. =] She doesn't shed, which is a plus since my sister is allergic to dogs. I definitely suggest the breed to anyone who wants to get a dog. They're really easy to train.

For me, it is a toss up between Akitas, German Shepherds, and Belgian Malinois.
I have a German Shepherd now. She is a female named Duchess. She is a Western European Working-Type Black & Tan.
Though I love most dog breeds, I would not own a poodle or any kind of spaniel, and chihuahuas are probably my least favorite.

All dogs are nice (except them yippee cocksure Jack Russells, but even then i balme the parents...!)
But would love to have a Boxer or possibly Bassett, but would get one from the Dog shelter 1st though so wouldn't descriminate, Mongrels are great too...

I dont really have a "favorite" per se but I love large guard dogs. I grew up with 2 rottweilers and a Doberman. I have owned 2 great pittbulls (who never attacked anything but my socks and their food bowl) and I currently have a Black Lab/ Pittbill mix who is great with my kids and we love him to death.
