Interested in the places "to go" in Manhattan for happy hour and dinner on a friday night. Most interested in Meat Packing district and lower east side, but know soho is always a good bet. We want good food and a scene - where is hippest, hottest, must go to for food, drink, and action?

Peep is a great Thai place is Soho. I think it's near Prince Street. You can find it on citysearch. Anyway, it's a really hip little place, very cool looking. Food is good. You must check out the bathrooms. It's made of doublesided mirrors - you can see everything on the outside but no one can see you - it's really a trip.

P.J. Clark's on 3rd avenue
you can drink and eat there!
Chelsea Place between 17th and 18th street
eat at the italian restaurrant downstairs then go upstairs to the bar-it starts happening around 10:00 p.m.
I recommend P.J. Clark's for happy hour, then chelsea place for dinner and then drinks in their bar upstairs!

Sutton Place has a great happy hour, and a secon floor outdoor area as well. It's on 2nd ave, between E 53rd & E 54th. Have Fun.
