She wouldn't need one for balance. She was biologically born that way so she'll adapt.

No.. no one will fit with an artificial tail.. The cat will be fine without its tail so I would not bother with it.. It is a domesticated cat so it does not have to worry about being in the wild and depending on its tail for balance.

Cats do not need tails for balance. They are completely able to live properly without tails. Do not get your cat an artificial tail, as there is no need for one. Your cat will have less balance by trying to cope with an artificial tail that it will if you just leave it alone.

I think that she will find her balance just fine..I had a friend who had a bobtail cat and the cat got around great without a tail. I would just be a bother to the cat and even more of an encumbrance to its balance.

It's normal for some cats to be born with 'bobbed' tails (at least around here). She'll act normal, but she'll be a little more agressive. My granny will actually search out the bobbed tailed kittens just to put in her barn because she says they are better mouse/rat catchers.

I have an 8 year old cat that doesn't have a tail and he has never had a problem with his balance. I think leave nature alone. I think your cat would reject her artificial tail.

This may be down to her breeding or a genetic disorder. I never knew artificial tails existed. I would suggest you give the vets a call and ask for advice.

I doubt she'll need one. Animals, like humans, are very adaptable. Since she was born without a tail, she will learn to cope without one.
And there ARE cats without tails. Rich mentioned Manx cats, but there are also Bobtails.
