It is a post modernists whou would say anything is true and accepted.

They believe there is no objective truth. To them, established scientific facts are really just a point of view, amongst many others with equal validity. These points of view have been forced on people as a form of hegemony by the established order. Post modernists for example accept that the existence of flying saucers, Elvis being alive and the existence of God, all being just as true as WW2, gravity and that the sky is blue.

An atheist or agnostic is someone who does not accept something merely on the strength of faith - some proof is required for something to be objectively true.

Therefore if a born again christian like Billy Graham says that his car was fixed by an angel, he might believe this - but an atheist would say it is not true unless there is proof.

I dont know what you mean about lusting for life and power blinded - some atheists, like anyone, are faded individuals with no energy whatsover.

As for intuition and logic, these are tools of reason - but not exclusive to agnostics.

Are you on drugs?

Unless you are an atheist or agnostic I wouldn't presume to know you understand how they think. Even an agnostic doesn't know how another agnostic thinks, everybody is different. The only thing atheists have in common is they don't believe in God. The reason is that there is no proof. It has nothing to do with authority. I'm sure there are atheists that have problems with authority just as there are Christians and everything else that have this problem but that doesn't have anything to do with their belief system.

I think you have atheist all wrong. We atheist are more realists. Happy, peaceful, content knowing the world is what it is. Free of having to contend with these various silly idealogies on any kind of person level. Laughing at the extremists on both sides, claim theirs is the more peaceful religion and to prove it they'll kill for it.........All in all atheistism is the most sane thing out there

God was invented by early man to try and explain life, the universe, and everything............but if God made the world...who or what made God. Why can't people just accept that there is no explanation that the human mind can comprehend.

if you say the great pumpkin is coming and i don't believe that, am i rebellious?

if you say god has an elephant head and i don't believe you, am i rebellious?

if you say there is an all-powerful god who nonetheless couldn't get his creations into heaven until he got them to slaughter his son, and i don't believe you, am i rebellious? really? Why?

You are talking about people who exist outside of your framework - your framework says nothing and means nothing about those persons.

Your approach for understanding things is very naive as it puts your beliefs at the center and works out from there.

It's not a claim. I am an atheist. You don't seem to be very well informed on atheism or agnosticism. I've provided some links if you'd like to read up on these topics. Peace.

i dont beleive there is a HIGHER power than myself.
man controls his own life, and I dont need to pray, to try to change something when times are bad.

Answer this.
why is it when someone is say "battling Cancer" that people pray for them to live. Yet when they die GOD NEEDED them.
So is God wrong for taking their life, or are you wrong for "praying" to try to change his mind.you both cant be right.
Religion is the Major cause for MANY of the worlds problems.
