If you go to http://www.equibase.com you can sign up for their "Virtual Stable" program which basically sends you an e-mail every time your horse works out or is entered to race.

If you know the horses name try looking at
www.pedigreequerry.com
Not all are in the data base but many are and they will have a pedigree on the horse and sometime owner info as well.

Type in the horses name.Like in Google or something and You should find the horse. :)
