okay i need some pointers. when i was a freshman i liked this girl a lot and i think she liked me cause everytime i talked to her she couldnt stop smiling, but i was too shy to ask her out in person. so i wrote her a note at the end of the year and gave it to her friend to give to her. then the next year she was in my geometry class and always smiled at me or even when she was around me, but didnt talk to me. then i wrote her another note because again just too many butterflies in my stomach. she still didnt say anything, so i wrote her another. but then later on that year her boyfriend wrote me a note saying to stop(i didnt know she had a boyfriend, she is never with him). i kind of gave up for a year, and now i am a senior. but now everytime she walks by me she kind of smiles, but doesnt look at me. Now im wondering if i should ask one of my friends to ask her or should i just give up. i have never felt like this before and even the thought of her makes my heart skip a beat.

Do some research first if she really has a boyfriend. Who knows she was the one who made the note or one of her friends just to test you. If she has a boyfriend I think it is not good to ruin their relationship. Even if you like her so badly but then just respect their relationship. There is a time for everyone and wait for your right time.
If she keeps on smiling on you maybe she likes you but she loves her boyfriend a lot or she is just being friendly. An inlove person interpret differently so maybe you are just dreaming that she likes you.
But if you really feel that she likes you, dont keep on giving notes only. Other women are shy to respond to men's notes instead they prefere that you will talk to them.
Try to accompany her while walking at the hallway, streets or whenever you see her. Dont ask her to go out so soon. Just you know talk to her first, be friendly, and try to build trust first before asking her.
If you feel that she is comfortable talking with you and you feel like you are already friends try to invite her to have some ice cream, coffee or whatever just small things first dude ehehhehehehe.
I think Women doesnt go with you on a date if she is not comfortable with you, or she doesnt know you well. so try to build friendship first.

I think you should give up on her. If she has a bf, then there isn't much you can do. However, I agree that she might like you, but if she doesn't do anything to be with you, then it doesn't matter. However hard it may be, sometimes things aren't meant to be. You can try sticking around her, hoping that she will break up with her bf, or you can start fresh and find someone else. You sound like a great guy and I'm sure you'll find a great girl. GOOD LUCK!

Try talking to her. Find out if she's seeing anyone. You might even apologize for the misunderstanding so she knows that you didn't know she had a boyfriend. If she still does, stay friends. If they break up, you can be her shoulder to cry on, and maybe she'll start thinking of you as more.

You need to either sh!t or get off the pot, understand? In other words, either pretend you have a pair of balls and walk up to her and ask her out or give it up and move on. Writing notes about your fluttering butterflies was great in 5th grade, but it's past time to grow up, don't you think?

girls like it when you ask them in person. When they get notes or an im, they sometimes think that it is a joke. just set aside your nervousness and walk up to her. talk about anything and then ask her. the worst thing that could happen is her saying no. good luck
