Start with a bank account, never go over your balance. Are you a student, they do have student credit cards and stuff. And remember not to EVER pay ur bill late anymore. Always use less than half of ur blance. If you have $1000 limit, onlu use $500 or under, it'll help you gain credit fast. And then, DO NOT apply for any more credit cards, everytime u get rejected, other lenders will consider rejecting you as well, and it becomes a cycle. For now, focus on healthy spending, start a budget, just spend what u have or less, and learn how to save. Use the time to build up your credit agaon, and hopefully maintain your good spening habit. Good luck!

They send apps in the mail all the time. Both email AND snail mail. You can probably also go online and find availability for high risk cases. But expect to pay very high interest rates.
Contact the credit agency online to get your credit report.
It's free when you're refused. Then perhaps you can find out exactly why, rather than assuming. Good luck!
Good credit is very important. Try NOT to over extend yourself, and try to pay all your bills in a timely manner. There ARE rewards for being reliable! :)
