Yes, anxiety has lots and lots of physical traits. I had a very anxious period in my life during a divorce and several times went to the doctors with complaints worse than yours. I thought I was having a heart attack a few times. If you know the source of your anxiety, you need to deal with that by talking to a psychiatrist. Also, there are many good anti-anxiety meds. to take during an "attack". Good luck. I know from experience how awful that feeling is.

Yes. Its like an overwhelming feeling. I can't go shopping alone because i'll feel like everyone was staring at me and judging me on what i was buying and i almost started crying. Thats probably just my panic attacks but my anxiety has mostly to do with it. I always think what someone else is thinking of me except when I'm with family. I don't know its just really different around them. I feel more safe and calm. I hate big crowds and stuff like that. But yea anxiety can make you feel overwhelmed by nothing and you can get a lump in your throat like you're about to cry an give you and un settling feeling in your stomach. Like a pit.

Yes, and you can end up losing weight as well, because you just don't feel like eating.

Is this a temporary anxiety from something going on in your life? Or is it the way you feel all the time? If it never goes away, and you've always had it, then you might need to see a doctor about that.

When people go through break-ups, and other life changing situations, this kind of anxiety is very common.

Absolutely it can get to a point that is very frightening and should be discussed with a doctor so a solution can be found or treatment . No need in letting something treatable remain a problem for you . I would advise seeking treatment , I do and have been treated successfully and I am glad for having done it.

Depends on the individual, for me anxiety is tightening and a 'pain' in the stomach and tightening of the back and neck muscles, which will eventually result in a migraine.

Anxiety can cause lots of different things. I get problems with breathing, chest pains, and fellings of depression. I have to take medication for my anxiety attacks which are severe.
