Apparently it's best to exercise every other day. Failing that, do cardio for 3 days and toning for the other 2 (giving you Sunday off!)

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

It depends on Age, Body weight, Health Condition, Purpose of work outs, mostly Type of work outs.. It's advised 2 take 24 Hrs of rest in 1 week schedule but the rest is determined by considering so many factors. It's better 2 be Discussed than being answered... It is definately ok to be active everyday. As far as your muscles, you can work different sets each day. For example, if you jog on Monday, give your legs a break and work your arms on Tuesday. If you do something high-impact that works your entire body one day, you should either take a day off the next day or at least seriously cut back- consider a medium paced walk for example.
Exercise and being fit are crucial to health, but part of taking care of your body is learning how to not overdo it. Let your muscles tell you when you need to take it easier. Good luck!

It can be harmful to exercise the same muscles on continuous days, so if you plan to work out everyday, it's best to create a workout plan that works the same muscles every other day, not on back to back days. It's not a problem to perfrom cardiovascular workouts everyday, in fact it's good as long as you don't over do it, of course.

It depends what you do and who you are, if you weigh 6 stone and plan spending 3 hours in the weights gym a day then NO! If you have normal strength and stamina and are not underweight and plan to do no more than 30 minutes of light aerobic stuff each day then fine!

as long as you have 24 hours off once a week, its fine - but not for a long time. you will only be able to keep this up for about a year until the strain gives you an injury. i would recommend 5 sessions of up to 2 hours per week

You should really vary your routine from day to day free weights one day, cardio or pilates the next and so on. Your muscles require 48 hours to recuperate form the workout. Cardio everyday is good though!

Moderate exercise is fine every day, but if you are working out, you should leave a days rest, as this is when the body improves itself, which is the point of a workout.
