going to Church helps bring people of similar Belief Systems together in order to enhance their spiritual well-being. definitely helps everyone to know there are others who feel similar thoughts regarding honoring, adoring and worshiping THE CREATOR OF US ALL. however if a person can't make Church services there is nothing wrong with worshiping adoring and honoring THE CREATOR OF US ALL alone. there are also some really good worship services on television which one can enjoy.

No. It doesn't matter. Walking into a building and socializing with others who might have something in common with me and then walking out a couple hours later does not make me feel spiritual. What does make me feel spiritual is praying by myself, meditating, remembering my religious laws and striving to honor them, and casting my spells makes me feel spiritual. But above all, loving other people makes me feel the most spiritual. Blessed be.

If you are truly spiritual, why would you "need" to go to church? Couldn't you be just as spiritual elsewhere? If fact, many denominations preach that isolation from the distractions of the outside world help purify the vision of holiness...

Greetings,
In the true sense of the word "church" we as believers are that church not some building. A truer sense would be to fellowship with those that are not afraid to admit that they are Christians and meet with them and not those that are playing at religion or those that are following men's teachings and agendas but the ones that are scincerely following jesus' teachings and life.

Going to church matters greatly. One of the purposes of the Church is to perfect the members. The Church does not serve as a place for perfect people to gather to say perfect things or have perfect thoughts. Rather, it serves as a place for imperfect people to gather and provide encouragement, support, and service to each other.

We go to church to learn to live the commandment He has given us; to love God with all our might, mind, and strength. Second to that we go to church to learn to love our neighbor as ourselves.

no, spirituality doesn't take place in a structure. A church is a place to worship with like minded people, but it isn't the only way to worship. "Where two or three gather in my name, so shall I be there"....something like that...

I would skip the churches if I was you. Most of them are houses of false teaching and not "houses of the holy" as they claim. Instead, you should start a serious Bible study. The best Bible study course and literature I know of can be found at http://www.ucg.org/
