my dog a mini pin just had five puppies about three weeks ago.she's got fleas now.can i bathe her or do i have to wait for the puppies to be weaned?

You can safely use Frontline on the mom.This will help rid her of fleas and keep the pups from getting infested. Also make sure to keep the bedding clean and dry. Change it a couple of times a day.

Congrates with the puppies. Can the vet to see if you could bathe her. On that she has fleas clean everythind like the dogs bed.

You can bathe her, but I wouldnt wash her nipples with soap. Instead I would spray them off gently with warm water. I wouldnt advise putting anything on her for fleas right now. I would contact a vet to see what you can and can't do for fleas.

I suggest you give her a bath now. unless you want the puppies to have fleas to.

no! wait a while longer. You can however...wash their blankets and bedding with borax (it kills fleas) and vaccuum that area with borax. it will reduce the population

Some products are made for nursing mothers. You have to look for them tho

no dont wash her now you have to wait until the puppies do not drink their mother's milk but you can wash the bedding and all around the bedding so some will be gone..

Call your vet and ask what you can use on her to kill the fleas. Congrats on the new babies.

I would think it ok,just make sure she is rinced real good so it won't effect the pups. to be sure call a veterinarian!!

you should bath her it wont hurt her but be careful
