Of course. Why shouldn't it be? Falling in love doesn't have being close to the person as part of its definition or anything, it's just a psychological process.

If you can actually call, write and email on a regular basis, it can work. You must be dedicated. Sending gifts with letters attached and having meetings at least once a month will help. After about a year, I would suggest looking into moving out there or having him come there so that you can move in together, if you feel you are ready for it. I don't see how a situation such as that can go on for years and years, but hang in there. It could be worth it.

Did you meet them in person or just on the web ? .. If you met them in person and talk on the phone a lot .. it is possible. On the web, it is easier to build up romantic feelings and the illusion that you are in love with someone. It can happen, ... but it is more unlikely that it is true love. Good Luck ! :)

Sure it's possible to FALL in love with someone when they're that far away. It's more difficult to MAINTAIN that love if you stay that far away.

i believe its possible to fall in love anyway, anytime. It doesnt matter how far away they are. You know how you feel. Focus on how you feel....not on the distance

yes, sometimes it is easier to talk to someone that is not right in front of you because you can speak easier or write to each other and express yoursself better
