In public or at a fancy function, it's polite to sneeze inside your mouth. Then again, if you're not too concerned with posturing and being proper, let 'er rip!!!

I'd say let it rip- it's never good to hold sneezes back- I heard it causes back problems believe it or not

It depends on where you are... if you're at home- sure, let it rip. But if you're out in public, I'd say hold it back if you can. You wouldn't want to sneeze all over people in a fancy restaurant or something.

I always have tissues with me for just such an occasion. It is not healthy to suppress a sneeze, and I find it irritating when people do. (You know, they make that slight snorting sound, and you can tell all the snot just stayed in there- gross!!) Just sneeze- but be ready with a tissue so someone won't have to get a mop.
