They are saying business availability in November, consumer availability in January 2007.
They are probably going to release it to their partners first, and the larger businesses with site licenses.
You really don't want it till they have at least SP1 out so you might want to just relax about it. If you do this for a living go get the Beta and play so that you know how it works. But you don't want to get it on your main home computer till it gets some time to work the kinks out because there will be kinks for a while.

I check around on this from time to time and as of yet have not seen a promise date... it is out in beta form now, but the official version is still being worked on.
