Well it would be pointless if it were a silly little game. None of us would be here, even those who insist it's a game, cause there is no way anyone, I mean anyone, would go on a website because they heard they could ask questions and never get a serious reply. No one likes to ask a question and always receive the wrong answer. And no one likes to be disrespected by always getting the insincere answer. Now we'll see how many people insist I'm wrong. Gee won't that be inspiring to see someone make the argument that they think it's a silly little game and attempt to prove to all of us that they don't take it seriously and they logged-in to give and get the wrong answers. Thereby helping me answer your second question, and showing that it is also a reflection of our deeper selves.

For some it's a game, for others it's a place to learn and grow. And at times, it's just a lot of fun.

It is what you make it. You have a serious question its a great way to get input from people outside your particular circle of friends. I don't play games, either here just to rack or points or at cybersocieties........which I honestly some people here need to switch too.

I believe it is supposed to be a forum where people can ask real questions and expect real answers. I would never violate that ideal by giving any less that an honest and well-though answer to any real question.
In your case, I'll make an exception.

could be a little of both as it depends upon the individual person not the entire group who come here. no one should judge an entire group by a few representatives.

To some it's a game. To others it is a battle for the souls of men.

It's both, I think. The Internet is not really meant to be taken seriously, but it does give a decent glimpse inside someone. Well, it can, when the person you think you are learning about is not a troll...
