because it makes it soft and yummy, have you tried the penguin biscuit one , you bite off a little bit of the top right corner and then a little bit of the left bottom corner, then use like a kind of straw and suck your tea from the bottom corner till it reaches your tongue on the top corner then quickley put all the penguin biccy in ya mouth and mmmmmmmmmmm it is yummy! you've got to try it. ( and you can give me ten points for the tip if you really want to xxx )

Why doesn't everyone dunk biscuits in their tea? Seriously, those who don't are missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures.
The best one to dunk is a twix, ok technically not a biscuit but hey. Bite off both ends and suck the tea through it like a straw - but make sure the tea's not boiling hot first. And there's two so you get to do it twice...
Go on, try it, I challenge you. If that doesn't convert you, you're a lost cause ;)

This is definitely a European thing. In the US, I dunk my biscuits in gravy! Or just put the biscuit on a big plate and cover with gravy!
If you are dunking a cookie then why not just get cookies that are not so dry?

Because dunking is an art form. Seeing how much brew you can adsorb without the biscuit dropping in. Hobnobs are the king of dunking biscuits.

I have to dip my biscuits in tea/coffee as I find them to dry otherwise (apart from cookies)

It depends on the biscute, some r single dunkers like rich tea and others r double dunkers like hob nobs, the marines of the biscute world!!

its goes soggy and has an odd texture!! worst thing is about it is the bits of biscuit that get left at the bottom of the mug!!!!! ewwwwww

Some people like their buiscits drowned in their drink. It is just how some people are I guess. I dont think it is to bad of a question. I dont like mine drowned though!
