Switch your husband into boxers from briefs. Make sure the pants he wears allow for a proper "drop" of his scrotal sac. If the scrotum is too warm, the sperm are less viable.
He should also refrain from caffeine and alcohol.
After that, make sure you have lots of sex in the middle of your cycle. After sex, put a pillow beneath your butt to elevate your vagina and keep his sperm inside as long as possible.
Cuddle and just enjoy each other. It is a well known fact that relaxation will bring around the desired outcome faster than pursuing the purpose with anxious zeal.

Here goes.
You and husband set a thorough work up. You by your obstetrition-gynechologist, and him by a doctor that specialises in conception matters. (e.g. he may have too low a sperm count etc.). The lasy is not always the problem in fertility difficulties.
Before anything else.
Quit smoking and taking any alcohol (for the whole time including the pregnancy),
You should go on a "no junk food diet" (until after you give birth.)
Take a mulivitamin with minerals pill daily Also take omega 3 fatty acid supplements daily (& right through the pregnancy) or crushed flax seed .
Start a low impact fitness training program and regular walking (a reasonable distance3 daily).
Learn how to recognise the time of your cycle when you are ovulating. Ask your g.p. for the signs or google the subject. It can be figured out by taking and logging vaginal temperature daily. The days of highest temperature is the time when ovulation occurs. Also vaginal fluid viscosity becomes thinnest during ovulation time. (to allow sperm to travel up the tract ). This method is called the serena method. (& is recommended by the R.C. church for rhythym method (which does not work very well for contraception. That phrase will give you a useful Google search phrase for searching).
Once both of you know when you are ovulating the real work begins.
Your partner should masturbate 2 or 3 days before ovulation time. This gets rid of all the old sperm that are in the seminal vesicles. (you want fresh sperm for conception).Stale sperm may be breaking down and have chromosomal abnormalities etc
You and your partner should have 4 or 5 s-exual unions .during the time of ovulation.
Also when you partner comes, you should assume a position on your elbowes and knees with your bottom raised highest. This posture helps the semen to pool at the mouth of your cervix, through which it must pass to get into the uterus, and then up into the falopean tube where fertilisation of your egg takes place.
Stay in that position for about 15 minutes. Then lie down. This encourages conception. Moving around might make the sperm's travel more difficult.
Do not use any vaginal chemicals before, during, and after the conception time. (e.g. deoderants, and do not douche, ever.)
It's a tough regimen, but iit will enhance conception chances, and it's worth it.
Good luck.
Doc. Dan.

For the average female, there are 3 days in a month that she can get pregnant. Now this seems like it'd be difficult to get pregnant, but also keep in mind that sperm can survive in the body for up to 3 days so that opens the window up more - basically having sex within a 3 day window before or after increases the likelihood of conception. There are over the counter tests to see if you're ovulating and some women also keep track of their temperature because it spikes just as they ovulate - again increasing the chance of getting pregnant. The easiest and least amount of thought way would probably just to have sex just around the middle of your menstrual cycle (ie: between days 12-16 after you finish your period) since that's most likely when you're ovulating. Good luck!!

I have a good idea how you might get pregnant, but I am afraid that I can't think of a way in which your husband can do likewise.

If your husband gets pregnant, please, let us all know! Of course, you'll have a historical moment to celebrate with that accomplishment!

How about you put this question in the pregnancy section, not the education section.
