Quite a few people are gay, kiddo. And no, it's not the ultimate insult. It's a rather weak insult, actually.

I would have to say that it is not an insult at all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay. Also, in reality people ARE indeed gay. If you can't handle that, it is not the problem of gay people, it is your problem for not being open minded and accepting.

just so you are clear, I myself am not gay. I state this only so that you realize I am giving this answer from an unbiased perspective.

I think that it is the method that you have chosen that is questionable. It is like be accused of being a witch during the salem trials or being called a communist during the mccarthy era. The bottom line is no one likes to be outed for any reason. I am sure that they would like to be given a choice of how to present themselves.

no it's not the ultimate insult, many people use the word gay, and they may not be confused, calling a gay person confused can be a pontential insult, because, they are not confused, they found something they like, they're comfortable in they're surroundings.

It's become a slang insult, which I find annoying. Nobody is gay? Are you for real? That's pretty funny. Redefine "confusion" and put your picture next to it if you believe that one.

I think it is wrong to accuse anyone to be gay, straight, or bi when that person hasn't told that person themself. I don't believe homosexuals are confused, love is love, no matter what sex. Get over it thats life. Accept it.

I would rather be mistaken for gay than a believer in one of the absurd religions infesting the world.

A lot of people just the word gay in an insult when they mean stupid. "You're gay" or "That's so gay" can just mean that's so stupid.

That is the most overrated insult you can give somebody. It is childish and stupid. It's like making fun of somebody because he is left handed or he can roll his tongue.

Personally, I would feel better about myself if someone thought I was gay.

Gay people, on average, tend to be better organized, better dressed, more polite, better tippers, more understanding and less invasive of the rights of others.
