a girl on my volleyball found out she had mono on wednesday and on tuesday i accidentaly drank out of her waterbottle once because we have the same one.. : /

Not at all. I one got mono and knew nobody I got it from or gave it to. Its basically a hit and miss type thing.

It's hard to say, maybe, maybe not. My son got mono from a friend. They were sharing their drinks. After we found out his friend had mono, I asked him if he had been drinking after Blake, he said "no, but he's drank after me". Kids! I told him it's the same thing. And yes, he did get mono, and man was he sick. I'd go get tested to be sure. He was losing a pound a day when he was really sick with it. He lost a total of 14 pounds! It took him a month to get over it. And there's always a chance of a relapse.

It's not automatic, my brother was a mono-carrier for almost six months (as in, he had the disease, but showed no symptomes) and nobody in my family was infected for three months until my little sister caught it from him. You're probably fine, but be careful anyway.

It's a good way to contract mono. Find a way to mark your water bottle as drinking after others is a good way to get other diseases

No. You can only get it if it's manifesting itself (which it sounds like it is.) Even then, it's not a sure thing.
