It might help (changes the pH of the urine). That, and drinking lots and lots of water.
What works best, though, if you're not allergic to sulfa, is a double dose of Bactrim. One swallow of pills and the infection clears right up.

Cranberry juice does help because I have experienced this. The first time I had an infection, I drank one full bottle a day until the infection cleared up, which happened to be three days (three bottles). The second time, I drank two bottles of juice in the first day and the second day, I drank lots of water. By the end of the second day, the infection was gone. I would suggest getting 100% cranberry juice and not the Ocean Spray juice because it has a lot of sugar in it. Also, I am going to suggest to also drink lots of water along with the juice. The water will also help flush out the remainder of the infection that the juice is helping to fight.

real cranberry juice (it also comes in capsules) create the optimum acid/alkaline balance in the bladder and under those conditions infection cannot exist. if you have trouble with constant infections it would be best for you to take cranberry all the time...it cannot hurt in any way even if there never was a bladder infection....we are not talking ocean spray here which is mostly other kinds of juice with sugar and a little cranberry.

Yes it helps. Read the labels carefully though. Most say cranberry on the front but when you read the ingredients you learn that cranberry is the 3rd or 4th ingredients down.

Yes, it is one of those natural drain-o's for your system. You should still see your doctor in case it's not just a BI, and get some antibiotics.
I also drink iced green tea, the arizona brand, often. That keeps you clean.
