You must understand that atheists (mostly) feel dissapointed from their religions and that is why they have spurned them.
For instance, a Christian might be angry with God for letting a relative of his die of cancer or something similar without understanding that death is just another part of life and also that the reason of that person's death is not God, but the sickness itself and he is just using God as a scapegoat, meaning something or someone to blame and vent his anger on.

Atheists are not being used by Satan any more than the rest of the people, and they do not believe in Satan any more than God or Allah or any other god.

I've pondered this also.
Although, I am not going to answer this in a traditional way, I will try to explain and elaborate and am open for further questioning.

It's all about what we choose to focus on. If I can ponder a thought or object and focus on it, I technically am choosing to explore the knowledge available with regards to the associations attached to the respective object/thought.

Now if satan was the one who tempted us to explore the idea or thought or awareness of this planet, just by ever so subtlely asking us what we want and if we can get what we want, we should be grateful.
Without his provoking of our curious nature, we would never have humanity or life on this planet.
The myth here has real world overlapping concepts.
If an atheist chooses to explore this world and fully enjoying it without wanting to leave, it is his or her right to do so.

Even if your not spiritual, curiosity is the link for thoughts and ideas to be introduced into your world at a more understanding and more enjoyable rate of learning.
Knowledge is here and we are very curious.

Ok, get out your bible buddy. Now turn to Isaiah 45:7. Got it. Good. Now read it. See the part where it says that god created evil. Now wouldn't the creator of evil BE evil? And Satan went against god, therefore going against evil. Therefore doing good. So if athiests are the pawns of Satan they are on the side of good and you are on the side of evil.

According to most text Satan himself has no real power. Satan's power comes from lies! His ability to trick and manipulate man to do evil! So in theory all mankind is Satan's pawn.

YES, But I think I've figured out a way To Foil His Dastardly Plans!

OK, hear me out. The devil wears a Red Leotard Right? (i mean, COME ON...we all know that). Well, Red Leotards are HIGHLY FLAMABLE due to the material used in production by the manufacturer.

I'll light a fire and then get down on my hands and knees (behind the devil), and YOU push him! He will fall into the fire and BADLY burn his scrotum and anus.

Although this won't kill the devil....It will sure make him THINK twice about using people as pawns!

YES. Satan uses whatever means necessary to try to trick Christians into giving up their salvation. The poor, misguided atheists are completely unaware that Satan is guiding them to do evil. They think they can do whatever they want and get away with it because they have no morals. I pray for the atheists, they are going to hell to be with their master.

Yes, but if they make it to the other side of the board safely, they can become the most powerful piece in the game.
