Nowhere. You simply asked if anyone else had ever asked that question.

The asker did not give the impression but the answerers could have got the impression that Jim Darwin didn't believe evolution ever happened based on the fact that the question under consideration is often used as an argument against evolution.

You know, I'm sorry you are a victim. People often use Yahoo! answers to make statements, and people made that assumption about you. I can see that you, nowhere, even implied that you didn't believe it. In fact, you did not collect a decent case against it, you just wanted one aspect of it explained.

Anyway, "man came from monkeys" is just a way to think about the common ancestor of man, more closely related to a monkey than a human because humans are distinguished by sentience/cognition (the ability to think). But the common ancestor was likely not exactly either, but perhaps the root ancestor of both. Rather interesting really, to think of humans as one way they evolved and apes, monkeys, chimpanzees, baboons, etc. all as another.

He gave the impression that he didn't understand the theory of evolution by claiming we "came" from monkeys. Us and monkeys share a common ancestor, us and chimps share an even more recent common ancestor.

No. But I hope you don't believe that evolution crap, it says right in the bible that God created everything. I'll pray for your soul. =)

No where. You were asking if anyone had ever seen that question before. We all see it frequently. Stupid question, anyway.
