Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love generally includes an emotion of intense attraction to either another person, a place, or thing; and may also include the aspect of caring for or finding identification with those objects, including self-love. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person. Love is commonly considered impossible to define.

The concept of love, however, is subject to debate. Some deny the existence of love. Others call it a recently invented abstraction, sometimes dating the "invention" to courtly Europe during or after the middle ages (though this is contradicted by the sizable body of ancient love poetry). Others maintain that love really exists, is not an abstraction, but is indefinable; being a quantity which is spiritual, metaphysical, or philosophical in nature. Some psychologists maintain that love is the action of lending one's "boundary" or "self esteem" to another. And others attempt to define love and apply the definition to everyday life.

When u start liking even the weaknesses of a person that means u r in love with hi/her. Love is a feeling that makes u give away everything to get a bit of attention from ur beloved. U become extremely possessive in love. Love is keeping this world in balance as people love one another and strive for the betterment of their beloved ones. If there was not love then this world would have been turned into hell.

What is the meaning of life? Why are we here?

These may be the only questions more difficult to answer than yours. And then again, they may not be as difficult. I feel like the judge who said, "I can't define pornography but I know it when I see it". I believe that is how most people would have to address "love". I know I love my wife, my children, one friend and I know I loved my dog.

Unfortunately I can't define it for you. I sincerely hope someone can and I wish you the very best of luck in your search.

I think that there is different surfaces of love. I love my child more than anything in the whole world, I love her more and in a different way than my husband. My husband's love is a romantic, comfortable, easy going love. I would help him in anyway I could, without letting myself go or change for his needs. Love is respect and happiness. I love my friends and family in another way. So in my opinion, love is what you make of it staying true to yourself.

Love is where two peoples chemistry is right. Everything you do together, you truely enjoy. Where you accept another person for who they are and feel intense feelings for them. Love is an emotion like a song.

This is one of the most difficult questions facing mankind.

Love is, wanting to sacrifice everything, your job, your car, your LIFE, just so they could spend one day of happyness.

Just so they, could be happy.

Love is not sex. Love is not passion. These come with love, but are not love.

Love is caring so much about someone that you can't not think about nothing else. Love is holding someone tight and it still is not tight enough. Love sometimes hurts because the one you love knows you so well that they can hurt you faster than anyone else.

love is not something that you can ask others if you want to find it out yourself. Each person has their own meaning of love. I am still young and trying to find it. The only thing you can do its find it out yourself. As humans we all have our own oppinions! So really love is a life longing journy on which we must find it out ourselves
