October or November is the best time to get vaccinated, but you can still get vaccinated in December and later. Flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May.

two months to three months befor the season starts. but the best way to avoid without vaccine is to stay away from sit in and fast food returants. and stay home as offen as possable until the season passes over.! good luck.

when your immune system is weak or ya over 50...Why inject yourself with the flu ?? I rather take the chance of trying to dodge it. Eat ya vitamins and stay healthy!! Then ya have nothing to worry about.

You can't get it in October unles you are over 65 or have a compromised immune system; other get it in Nov or Dec.

When they make it available...but they usually have a shortage and want sick people and the elderly to get it first, then healthcare workers, then the general population

My doc scheduled me for October 24th, as they said it would be in by then and I am at high risk.
