You can't get your hair PERMANTLY straightened. It usually lasts only 6 months or so depeding on your hair. I had mine straightened and it lasted until I got a hair cut, which was 2 years later, because my hair is straight naturally.
And the cost depends on your hair too, like how long. If your natural hair is curly, it will cost you more I guess. It also depends on the product.

You almost answered your own question. Basically, whatever the cost of a good perm. Most likely it will be a little less than a curley perm because there is less work involved, so don't let anyone try to rip you off either. They will apply perm solution then continually comb through your hair (straight).

About $165.00, depending on the salon. The process takes about 3 hours. It is not permanent. It may last up to 6 months.

That depends on where you go, but is is never permanent. You hair will grow out curly. You just have to keep doing the new growth.
