I saw him before, but he said that he had just taken his perscription sleep aid and wasn't with it, and doesn't even remember seeing it. But now, I'm not so sure. What should I do? I thought my dad was such a moral guy..

ALSO: No, I do not think my mom knows, because quite frankly she is somewhat of a prude. And, when we had our first "Birds and the Bees Talk", I asked her about guys watching porn at my school, and she said that looking at pictures is one thing, but watching people have sex is just not right....and this isnt just any guy..this is my dad who I've totally looked up to my whole life thinking he's so moral...

thanks, and i wasn't snooping around. I went to go open my desktop shortcut and accidently clicked on the file..plus, i'm not that much of a kid..haha i'm 18 if that means anything? lol

Porn is enjoyable for both men and women. If its just pics or video clips he's looking at,its probably harmless excitement. Chances are your mom knows and may not even mid. besides its possible she looks at it too and maybe with him and you brining it up may cause embarrasment and put them on the spot. If he's not looking at kids,its no biggie.
You know what,ask your mom whatd she think about it if she caught dad. Tell her your friend saw her dad looking at it and she wanted to know if she should tell HER mom. Than,youll know. Good luck.

I don't think its your business but at the same time you need to see someone about this . This isn't right for your Dad to watch porns and at the same time its growing problem in all the families that need to be addressed . I feel for you because now you aren't seeing your Dad in the same light as before . I would pray to God and ask to guide you with this and then listen to your gut feeling or see a counsellor at school or where ever .

I'd suggest you keep this to yourself. What's on your dad's computer is none of your business. It doesn't matter if you found it by accident or you were snooping. What he does is private.
Besides, I'm pretty sure you're mom is already aware that your dad has porn, whether it's on the computer or not.

If it wasn't envolving girls your age, or boys, then you should mind your own business. Thats a problem with todays kids. They think that they should have a say so in their parents lives.
But, Tell your dad to secure his files better, and stop snooping on his computer.

I would speak to your mother but not for the reason you think. What your dad watches is up to him as he is an adult...but he should not be doing it or leaving it where you can come across it. Tell your Mom and let her sort it out...she may already know.

No, I wouldn't, he is an adult, let your Mom find out things for herself, as for being moral, he is a male that is missing something! At least he isn't cheating on your Mom!
