I have the same exact problem! I am kinda friends with him, so im trying to hint that i like him. I plan to tell him flat out at a dance this year and it seems really scary right now... but im sure i will be glad i did it. but make sure you get to know him before you tell him, because you don't want to startle him so bad that he feels insecure. Talk to him, get to know him, then start flirting a little bit, and after a while, ask him out or tell him you like him and let him take the next step. Be brave!

Be sure to mark the date, Sept. 23, 2009 on your calendar. Then, when the three years are up, ring him up on the phone (or whatever device we'll communicate by in the future) and pour your heart out to him.
Hopefully after 3 years, he'll have time to process and will want you to!

are you friends? or are you just a stranger who walks right at him and say, "i like you for 3 years now."

If you have a friend who is best friends with him ask your friend to ask him if he likes you as a friend or more than a friend. That simple. Well for me it was. or you can start hanging out with him more often : )
