I still have a friend that I use to be with and we talk just about everyday but its causing problems with my current boyfriend.

Honey stop it.,or at least back up. It dosent feel good when your mate is still friends with an ex. You never know those feelings might come back. Trust me I know try to back away from the ex. you have a future with the new one. You already know how the ex is so give the new one a chance and build the friendship with him. Dont loose a friend you havent gained yet. Think about it

Of course your boyfriend would be jealous, especially if you can talk to your ex better then you can with him.
It's nice that you two parted as friends.. but at the same time, it's a bit unfair to your current boyfriend... try to consider putting him first.. or break off the friendship, this could only lead to more problems for you.

It depends on you talk to him and how often you do. If you're meeting him places to talk than I'd consider that being somewhat intimate so that is a form of cheating. if you have a class with him and see him there or refuse 2 stop going to the gym just because you broke up then no, it's not cheating.

If he thinks it's cheating to talk to an ex, it's about his insecurity, not your infidelity. Your new boyfriend needs to realize that you're with him and not this other guy for a reason.
And even though the relationship is over, two people can still have platonic feelings for each other.

yes i would consider it cheating. whats wrong with your ex can't he find a girl of his own to talk to?. and if you have a man but still can make time to talk to your ex than something is not right.either you have to much time on your hands or you and your ex are still in love.

It isn't cheating. But, would you want your man to have a close friend that he used to be involved with? You need to tone it down with that friend. If you must hand out with them, make sure your man is present. Otherwise, after a few drinks, you may make a mistake. Don't put yourself in a risky situation.
It isn't cheating, but it isn't really kosher either.

Stop it! I once did the same thing,thinking that I could be friends with my EX and it caused so many problems.That's why we use the phrase "ex", because you exit the relationship.Don't put your man through that extra pressure.If you do you won't have him long!!

well i dont think it is cheating i would look at it as old friends catching so you dated nothing going on between u guys so whats the big deal just make sure ur b/f knows that u and him are not doing anything

it's not cheating. my bf freaks out if I even talk about an ex. It's just jealously and they don't like the idea that we used to be with other people besides them. doing the "things" we do with others upsets them. if you can avoid it...don't talk about it.

You have to ask yourself which one makes you happy? Why did you and your ex break up in the first place? I say follow your heart it's the olny way to go.
