try Lactaid (either the milk they sell or the pills they sell in the medicine aisle near the laxatives) You are lactose intolerant. I have the same problem. And you probably just developed it since you haven't always been that way. (Same way with me)

Maybe you have an allergy, maybe you have upset stomach and one of the causes is that. Any other odd things happening? Stressed?
I was having a problem with milk and and chest pains...turned out I had a gastroenteritis problem and had to go on on acid reflux meds and Acidfex to lower the acid so my stomach could heal. I adore milk too, but stomach has to break down milk not just steak to process. Go check/talk with your doctor to figure it out, but it might take a few months of healing. Then you'll be back with your milk again. Until the appt, try looking up "purine diet" and you will find a list of do's and don't for high acid need foods and avoid them. See if that makes you any better in the mean time. Best of luck.

I was always told that you need to start them off gradually on cows milk. Start with 3/4 breast milk and 1/4 milk do that for a couple of days, then go to 1/2 and 1/2 for a couple days, then to 3/4 milk, 1/4 breast milk for a couple of days and finally on straight milk. If that does not help then I would do soy milk instead.

It sounds as though you may be lactose intolerant. Get yourself to an allergy specialist (even though lactose intolerance isn't an "alleregy") and you can get tested. There are these wonderful pills you can buy that you take before you eat any dairy products, that enable you to be symptom free afterwards. I was so happy to be able to eat pizza and lasagne again! They are called Lactaid (I take two extra-strength) - but you'll have to play with the dosage. They are over the counter. Expensive, but really worth it to not have to limit foods any more, and get over the horrid excruciating stomach pain! Wish you luck! -- I started being sensitive in my mid-20s, and so did a niece and nephew of mine.

Maybe you are lactose intolerant. Many people are, and some dieticians argue nobody should drink milk either at all or after childhood. There's lactose-free milk in the stores but it's more expensive than regular milk.

It sounds like you might have become lactose intolerant. You can try soy milk or goats milk, neither of which has the lactose content that cows milk does.

have you checked whether you're lactose intolerant?
Your stomach is an acidic medium, and milk is alkali - I would get it checked out if you haven't already...

I'm 25 and I don't have any problems with it. If I were you I would make a doctor visit and make sure you aren't lactose intolerant. Good Luck.
