I am looking to buy in the spring and really like the retro feel of them but I was wondering about comfort. The one I sat in, the seat feels like plywood. I know that once the novelty of owning one wears off, will I be wishing I bought a 4Runner instead?

I guess that the off roading question matches my own sentiment. I like te FJ for looks, I'd like the 4Runner for comfort. I should buy the Camry for all other reasons. Practicality, gas mileage, etc.
Oh, and BTW.... Toyota is the ONLY car, truck, or SUV I will consider.... they are that good. Thanks for your help

i work for toyota and let me tell you the feeling wont wear off easy on this car i been wanting to get one my self , but the question you should be asking your self is how much of an offroad er are you , cus 4 runner is made for comfort aroud the city and fj is made for sirius offroader , but it rides very smooth , another thing 4 runner uses regular gas and fj uses premium only , thats anotherthing to cosider,

That looks like a cool car. I like those things. You could swap out the seats and that will personalize your vehicle. And if you decide not to swap out the seats and still don't like it, resale should be good because it is a new design.
