Neither Islam nor Christianity urges people to kill.
It is under the false guiding of political and religious leaders, following their own interests and of course not caring at all about their religion or the people for that matter, that believers kill others for not believing in their religion.
The lacking knowledge of their own religion from the people is replaced by the lies of the leaders.
And as a matter of fact I do not know of a religion that promotes violence.

I don't know exactly what motivated these hate-mongers, but it seems pretty closely tied up with their religion.

A god of love would not want his followers to kill.
He gave us free choice or free will to serve or not.
conversion at the end of a sword is not conversion that creates hate.

I think people who are athiests ( if I spelled that right...not sure), but whoever gave the answer " christianity" is all wrong, it is the religions who deny the fact that Jesus is God's son, Jesus name is above any other name, the most high name...all powerful.
