1. Part your hair down the center.
2. Take a one-inch hair section from right above your left ear. Hold.
3. Repeat on the right side.
4. Twist each section, and combine at the center of the back of your head.
5. Secure with an elastic.
6. Take a 1/4-inch section from the ponytail, and wrap it around the elastic several times.
7. Secure with a pin underneath.

4. Begin twisting the right section, adding hair to the twist as you move towards the back of your head.

6. Combine the two sections into a ponytail about three inches above the nape of your neck.
7. Instead of securing the pony with an elastic, wrap it around itself to form a loose, messy bun.
8. Secure with pins, and leave the ends hanging down.

i'd love the bald look with a dragon tattooed to the scalp.

but that won't work... so if the hair is long you have many alternatives.. buns, curls, waves.. scarves.. nothing overly crazy or exotic but there are functional and formal looks for these.

short hair there's still quite an variety of opportunity.

AND this is a great site by the way:

http://www.pg.com/science/haircare/hair_twh_toc.htm;jsessionid=SW0FLHONCAJNTQFIAJ1XKYWAVABHM3MK

it talks about hair, hair styles, hair care and types of hair and what to do with your type of hair, what condition it's in and why your hair is the way it is....
