If it has been 30yrs between ladies I would suggest a drink beforehand to help with staying power or the "cork" would pop to easily.

Chances are that you need to chunk the bottle, since you didn't identify it by name. If it has a cork, chances are now that it has oxidized in the fridge because it dehydrates corks and allows oxygen in. If you start out with a new bottle, don't keep it in the fridge for more than a couple of weeks - use it. If opened, drink it within days. Box wines last longer after being opened.

if the wine is not opened should be o.k. but after thirty years could you not celebrate with a new bottle of something, maybe not from a supermarket. Maybe that is why its been 30 years.....exraodinary.

Open the bottle and taste it. Wine turns into vinegar when it "decomposes"....a teaspoon on the toungue will tell you if you A) can serve it B) if it tastes good enough for her to jump your bones C) whether or not you need to buy another bottle
I would suggest Asti Spumante or Cold Duck or Champaigne....they "go to the head" quickly due to the carbonation. Avoid Boone's Farm.
Wear a condom
Good luck

Wine is something that gets precious with age, perhaps the wine can represent a part of yourself that you could not share with the other girl, try it now see what happens.

O.K, well if this is it after 30 years then don`t drink it...you will need to be up for it. It will keep until after.
