If he genuinly likes you he'll wait for you. Thats all there is to it. By young, i'm guessing your frrshman sophmore like me and i would never ever go out with a guy in college. To many lifestyle differences. You would only be unhappy if you did becuase of the differences between your lives. Think about all the things that would/could go wrong. You couldn't take him to school dances. Wouldn't you have to hide him from your parents? Thats tough.
My freshman friend went out with a senior and ended up heartbroken becuase he had to leave, and everyone called her a s*ut.
Anyway, if you really care about him you won't cuz he could get in BIG trouble with the law.

College guys are very different from high school guys.
Tread carefully. Very carefully.
A wise green troll once said: "Always in motion, the future is."
So I won't presume to predict it.
However, college guys, (at least the ones in my dorm) are not the kind of guys I would want near a high school girl. Ever. They are obsessed with "F*#&ing the girl"
I mean, I have a girlfriend, we are the same age, and are in a long distance, (420 miles) relationship.
One of the guys, seeing her picture, asked, "Is that your girlfriend?" When I said yes, his next question shocked me.
"Have you F U C K E D her yet?"

I am a college student, and I will not date anyone younger than 20. Any college guy who would is a pig and just wants sex. I don't even think friendship is ok...but, if you do stay friend's and he tries to have sex, you know what he really wants.

As long as your no farther apart than 3 years in age then give it a try, otherwise age diff could become a prob. also keep in mind both of you will change a lot in how you feel, think and behave in the next 5 years as you mature more.

Stick with someone your own age. Your college friend may be nice, but chances are he's got ulterior motives. Don't rush yourself, young high school student, or you will be sorry later on.

I dont know the age you would be or he for that matter..your schooling systems are different to ours...
I can only say this..age dont matter where love is concerned, but there could be legal ramifications if you are too young...talk to your parents they should advise you wisely on this one...good luck

First off, he's too old for you. Secondly, he can be arrested for being sexually active with an underage girl. It's called 'statutory rape' and is punishable by being sent to prison.
Either wait till youre in college, or date someone your own age.
