In the original package, unopened, about a week. If you bought them loose, wrap them in a damp(not wet) paper towel and store them in the crisper. Do not wash them until you are ready to use them--and if they are not really dirty, it is even better to just clean them with a soft brush to remove any dirt. If you feel you need to put them in a plastic bag, wrap them in a damp paper towel first and do not seal the bag.

They will probably be good for several days. Just keep checking and use them up as soon as you can because they are better while in their freshest condition.

until they get soagy keep any moisture away from them and they last longer..i put in paper towels and then in baggies in crisper...
